Same here. We have had a couple windy days but the temps were just too cold for me. If it's cold enough for ice in salt water I stay dry. I've been convinced to try snowboarding.

did someone say global warming !

I think the preferred term is "climate change" Scott, and yeah when eight or nine years are hotter than normal and one or two are "normal" that's not good.

But if there's got to be climate change, I'd like to get some 40 degree action with shoulder high swell...

thats la nina, we are now in el nino which usually brings us good nor easters. more snow tonite! i gotta fix the wolfs shopping cart for ice sailing.

Micheal,I'd rather have some 80 degree action and head high waves myself! Maybe it's time to get off LI for a week or so. Even to go snowboarding you still have to travel. I'm having a self induced climate chage in the Carribean. Hope you find a solution. JH

Throw a sail on your skate board. That'll leave you feeling content. It does me.

No whining, we are blessed to get what we get....say a prayer for the people in Haiti they are truly hurting! Send a donation, a little goes a long way for these people right now..in my book everybody counts, my thoughts and prayers go out to these people. We will get our wind and waves, these people have nothing right now. CD

haha in the Netherlands we have also for already 6 weeks a frozen hell athmospere...

"It's good to have a shredmobile" my friend Caldwell said, so I made one. It's a Ford E150 cargo van done up with lumber and k-mart plastic boxes.
