One handed pirhouette helitack, anyone?
It amazes me that back when windsurfing was this young...heck, in the days before footstraps...that sailors developed all these gratuitously crazy moves.
At the 2001 King of the Cape freestyle competition, I saw Long Island windsurfer Mike Burns throw moves in this vein when there wasn't enough wind to plane. He won the amateur class.

Hah, that you used to be so much fun. Railrides, head dips, splits, rocking rail rides etc. And we used to think we looked so cool! If some guy in a big freestyle competition pulled off a couple of normal railrides with head dips etc, wonder what the reaction would be?? We had loads of fun -even though our shins and tops of our feet may have been a bit worse for wear.

This is fantastic old school freestyle. In Australia, we recently had a freestyle comp. as part of the Australia Windsurfer One Design Nationals. You can check it out here -
