Nice exclusive coverage of this important event!

Glad you liked it! A bit of our origins are showing...the Peconic Puffin started in 1993 as a newsletter about the exploits of 20 odd people (people who were odd...there were precisely 20, known as Puffins.) The blog version of the Puffin has taken a broader look at windsurfing, but the original Puffins shall be superserved! It may not "work" exactly, but Puffins are not perfectionists...all we need to be happy is 20 knots of wind (and a mouthfull of sand eels.)

For any of our friends wondering why they weren't invited to a "party" we basically had some friends stay with us for the weekend, and then a few old friends (Nanette and the Slo clan) stopped by. We're looking at having a real party later this summer!

For more details on the origins of the Peconic Puffin, check the About entry. For more details on our patron birds, click on Puffins under Categories.

"It's good to have a shredmobile" my friend Caldwell said, so I made one. It's a Ford E150 cargo van done up with lumber and k-mart plastic boxes.
