Pierre notes that his longboard "cost me $25 in a yard sale. Back in Sydney, I sail more wave-oriented gear, but hey, I'm having a ball." I spent $100 on my Superlight (would have spent $200). I meet the occasional skeptic, but they're usually cured by spending five minutes on the board, which has guaranteed grin-inducing qualities.
