Andy Brandt and his apostles of windsurfing fun and technique will roll into Peconica later this week for two ABK clinics. Whether you've never been on a board, to getting into the footstraps, to your wildest jibingest loopy freestyling dreams, this is the place to get better fast. Three day clinics at Napeague start Friday the 14th, and again on the 21st. The Peconic Puffin will be there. You should be there too!

ABK (is the way)
That sign posted on that house of God does not lie.
Couple things about the ABK dudes. 1st, you learn more in 3 days that would take you 3 yrs, no matter what level you're at.
2nd, the guys teaching are chill, they know the big time stuff and how to teach it.
3rd, you learn that 20kts ain't necessary to get your mojo going. Don't get me wrong, speed is great, but Freestyle is happening too, and it seems like an underrated part of windsurfing.
I compare it to my other favorites, skateboarding and snow boarding, which is all about freestyle (ever hear of $hawn White.
So maybe Freestyle windsurfing eventually gets on the tube, brings some Prize money, and ABK Andy becomes the new Tony Hawk.
Hope so, cause I can watch him on ESPN2 and say "yeah, I hung out and windsurfed w/ that guy, he's pretty good."
Later dudes and dudettes.
