As the season progresses, the Peconic Puffin will return to experimenting with all things that might keep us warm, including the "poor man's hot tub" demonstrated above.

They are serious windsurfers, Bunty. So are some of us fools on Long Island! Take a look at the photos in this post in which Peconic Jeff and I sail through ice.
The crown for cold crazies goes to this guy, however!
If you live someplace where there's good wind when it gets cold, it's only a matter of time before the whitecaps drive you to go buy a drysuit.
