Sunday's forecast for long island looks epic with big S/SE swells and a side-offshore winds (NW-WNW), sunny and warm in the afternoon. What else could we ask? Oh, right, that nobody dies on Saturday in the thick of the storm...

Was actually stopping by to say "Hey, I hear we get some wind this weekend." But of course puffins would know that! :D
Glad it's this weekend & not next, when me & my Sebago friends will be paddling out to Montauk!

I just walked over to Town Beach in Southold and it looks like it might get windy later today. It's definitly building.
