Sunday's forecast for long island looks epic with big S/SE swells and a side-offshore winds (NW-WNW), sunny and warm in the afternoon. What else could we ask? Oh, right, that nobody dies on Saturday in the thick of the storm...

Glad it's this weekend & not next, when me & my Sebago friends will be paddling out to Montauk!

I just walked over to Town Beach in Southold and it looks like it might get windy later today. It's definitly building.
