Hope you and all your surfing community had a superb Christmas and wish you all the very best for a 2011 packed with great conditions for windsurfing and SUP'ing.

as secretary and director (c.d. being the often missing chimp in action pres.) of the EASTERN LONG ISLAND WIND CHIMP ASSOCIATION i must say......we are all nuts!!

I've done 44+46 = 90 and thought it was darn cold... You're putting everyone to shame.

Have you thought of warming your hands in the warm water kettle you could put on the propane heater?

I hope Scott is not trying to replace me as " grumpy boy". Hope you all are having fun. No propane heat needed here. 82 , 8ft and 20 knots today. I'll try to send some pics next week.Enjoy the snow. JH Grumpy

fellows i love the stoke but kielt is right u r all nuts actually today was 10-15 ft faces 15-25 mph and few takers

Bloody crazy if you ask me!!! We think twice about going down when the air temp goes as low as 13 Centigrade (which is not very often thank God!). Since you all wear dry suits how about strapping a hot water bottle around your bellies or your backs - only an extra kilo of weight!

What the...I must say you all need to get your heads examined, Mike you run one nutty blog(Hulse you will always be the king of GRUMP,Kielt is running a close second lately but his hair looks quite natty)Keep the chuckles coming in 2011! CD

Nutty? What can I say, Lord Chimpleton...I'd rather examine my downhaul than my head. Or the waves, if you can just teach me how to find the channel. Happy New Year sir!

Mike,
Same to you , health and happiness, and many waves and windy days for you and all fellow wave riders all over this great planet!
CD

me grumpy?! all i need is a job & some wind!%$#&%!

"It's good to have a shredmobile" my friend Caldwell said, so I made one. It's a Ford E150 cargo van done up with lumber and k-mart plastic boxes.
