You could plane on a shortboard with a 5.8 (Peconic Jeff did) but the main event was a stand up paddling circumnavigation of Ram Island in Bullhead Bay with Dave Kalama. Thanks to Jon and Hampton Watersports for putting this together.

Did you ask Dave if he windsurfs anymore?

Sounds like I missed a great event. That is so cool.

Frank, I must say it was a so-so event. I think Dave K may have been under the weather...he didn't really put on anything like a clinic. I wouldn't sweat having missed it.

I have actually had some good surfing recently. Over Easter had 4 days in a row - one was a kiting lesson (very slow on that cos Malta is such a crap place to learn and need right wind direction to coincide when I am available........plus right now I would rather windsurf too!)then 3 days in a row with really enjoyable conditions. Was totally on a high after that! Have just got my new GoPro HD so hopefully will start getting a bit of decent stuff of ME!!!! On second thoughts that will probably end up being pretty boring. Please push me to keep on blogging - just been so busy with the renovation and other things that command my attention.
