I've recently learned about the Legend of the Reef Warriors, a small but mighty tribe who can conjure such magic as wavesailing on a Great Lake. I am still studying the legend, greatly stoked by the following video that a Warrior has revealed in an iWindsurf post. It's great stuff...enjoy!

Bonnie I'm already Ground up and loaded. Will publish tomorrow...right now I'm going to put in a link to your Groundhogma. (Will appear tomorrow now that you've retracted le poste)

D'oh! I have retracted the Groundhogma until tomorrow - didn't realize it was tomorrow and actually had something else ready to go today.

hi mike, lou here from the reef warriors. thanks for the shout out, glad to share the video. just 1 correction though, we are not in the midwest, we are on the canada side of lake erie, just west of buffalo,ny. don't want your folks to think iowa has waves like that!
looking forward to groundhogma, what ever that may be.
i have enjoyed your site as well, will link to ours, if that is ok?

Thanks for the correction, Lou...the post no longer talks about the midwest (though they get some good windsurfing out there as well!)
Of course you can link to The Peconic Puffin...just be warned that your friends will probably blame you for it later.
