I have 16 windsurfing fins, but Joe has more. I love a good fin!
Back in Windsurfing Magazine's heydey they used to publish a checklist of skills that told you whether you were a beginner, novice, intermediate, advanced, expert, or pro-level windsurfer. One of the things that made you an advanced windsurfer was using different fins to trim your board (I used to torment OG Puffin Steve about this...he was a better sailor than me, but he had a screwdriver allergy.) I still tweak each of my boards with varying fins at every session, but I rarely see the other guys do this. In Joe Natalie I've found a fellow fin man.
I switch fins in the back of my van like an old perv'.
They're all thrown in a back pack as if I'm ashamed of them. Far from this orderly display.
Could be why Joe rips through his gybes and mine are lumpy.
A sub note: It seems that everyone has Wardog's weed/wave fins in their fin quiver. I guess he got them right.

My latest board (Quatro FSW 105) came with no less than four fins from the previous owner. Perhaps I have moved up a category in my skill level!!!
