I got "bumped" twice on the thigh in the same day, by something that felt large enough to be 30# plus, many, many years ago a fair ways offshore at Cedar during an easterly. It's an experience that helps you waterstart much more quickly and effectively than normal

never saw anything.

I like to think it was a not-so-timid striped bass.

Well that's what I like to think.

Philly the first bump would have kept me out of the water for some time! I say that but my shark experience in 2009 only kept me out for a half hour. Still, this year seems a bit heated on the shark front!
