Ever since I got the severne cyclops extensions …I never have to fuss with deriving (or rigging) the downhaul. So much easier and I guess safer .

I do a quick bowline and use my harness bar. Works a treat using the legs to pull down.

I just wrap the downhaul line around my harness and lean back. You always have it, no extra tools, and it is far easier than using your hands and arms.
